Hi there, I’m Bernadine, a child of God, wife to my husband Mark, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend and a teacher among other things. I’m a small-town, coffee loving, red lipstick wearing, island girl from the beautiful island of Grand Bahama. However, I’m now living in the big city of Dallas, Texas.

I’m an avid bookworm who also loves to write.  In fact, I started writing for a teen girl audience almost twenty years ago. It all began with a self published  teen girl magazine. I published the magazine for ten years and during that time started blogging so I could reach a wider audience.

My desire is to encourage and challenge young women to trust God with their hearts and dreams and discover His purpose for their lives. In a world that is often loud in showcasing the negative I always want to speak to the young woman of excellence and integrity that is within you. I want you to know that you are God’s masterpiece, you are beautiful, you are loved, you are enough.
